Gloria Dei has a softball team!  The Deidreamers have finished their 2011 season in the YWCA Church League and we had many games with over 30 players of a variety of ages.   Consider being part of our team summer 2012.  We also need people to cheer the team on.... bring a folding chair... join the fun.

BOOK CLUB

Join us for Book Club discussion at Gloria Dei.  Bookgroup meets the 3rd Monday at 10:00 am  at Gloria Dei.


BOOK CLUB will meet on Monday, February 20 at 10:00 a.m. in the Community Room, we will continue discussion of “The Spirit Catches You And You Fall Down” by Anne Fadiman. The book for discussion in March will be “The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks” by Rebecca Skloot. *NOTE* This is the Duluth City - wide book to read for 2012. The choice for April will be “The Happiness Project” by Gretchen Ruben.

A group from Gloria Dei meets at Perkins East (London Rd) in the back room on the third Tuesday morning of the month.  We meet for coffee (and breakfast, if you wish) and share friendship and support among Gloria Dei members and friends.  Conversation is not limited to one topic.  A good time is had by all.
